Mumbai metallers Demonic Resurrection will be playing in New Delhi tomorrow, 23rd November along with prog sitar prodigy Rishabh Seen at Matchbox, in association with CrossOut Productions. Ambient/post rock band Ioish is also part of the lineup.
Demonic Resurrection will be playing in New Delhi after over a year, the last time being at the famed Outrage Festival in August 2015. Demonic Resurrection’s Sahil ‘Demonstealer’ Makhija told us this would be the last show of the run to promote their fourth studio album ‘The Demon King’ after which promotions for their upcoming album will commence. The new album has been recorded, mixed and mastered. It will soon be going into pre-production and manufacturing stages. Hopefully we will hear about this in more detail from the band soon! Fans who have supported the band’s PledgeMusic campaign will be receiving the album before the worldwide release, which is mostly scheduled for March 2017. You can still contribute towards their campaign here.
As for Rishabh Seen, playing in New Delhi surely feels like home. He will be releasing his debut EP with prog band ‘Mute the Saint’ on the 1st of December 2016, something fans can look out for. He has two more shows coming up, yet to be revealed.
