Parth Julka is a drummer and music educator from Chandigarh, India. He started off playing the Dhol and his first appearance onstage was at the age of 5. He has played more than 200 shows so far.
Parth has done Masterclasses with Matt Halpern, (drummer of Periphery, Ex- Animals As Leaders, Music Educator) as well as Mike Johnston, a world renowned educationist. He is a Berklee graduate who has studied the Rockschool curriculum for 2 years and he has been learning the ‘art of drum Independence’ from Adamya Sharma (PhD. Music) for the past 5 years.
He has been teaching and educating at the following institutions:
Bridge Music Academy, chandigarh
Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (Music university), Panchkula
Corporate offices, Business Schools, Government sectors, various music stores in Chandigarh and multiple internet platforms.
He has been a judge at several popular events on school and collegiate level. He has also actively conducted drum clinics at places like the Music Appreciation Seminar at IIT Delhi, the Indian School of Business in Punjab, Infosys Pvt. Ltd. and the Indian Army Club in Chandigarh.
He is currently working on the debut album with his band ‘The Light Ear’, who has done around 100 shows performing across India.
He was on board with living legend Gurdas Maan ji. He has also shared the stage with Falak Shabir and Soch Band on their India Tour. Parth also endorses Meinl Cymbals.
Parth has been doing sessions with various Bollywood artists and is working on his solo drumming videos as well.
